Hi, I’m Alisha.

I’ve spent over two decades in medicine, with a background in emergency and acute care that taught me how to think quickly, dig deeper, and care for people in some of their most vulnerable moments. But over time, I started to see a pattern—so many patients were being told everything was “normal,” yet they still didn’t feel well; acute flares stole time from people whose chronic symptoms were never addressed and patients were never educated on how to stop the cycle.

That disconnect is what led me to functional and metabolic health.

I expanded my training to better understand hormones, metabolism, and the root causes behind symptoms like weight changes, fatigue, brain fog, and mood shifts. What I found is that real healing doesn’t come from quick fixes—it comes from understanding the whole person and creating a plan that actually fits their life.

That’s the foundation of Freedom Metabolic Wellness.

My goal isn’t just to prescribe and move on. It’s to build a space where you feel supported, heard, and empowered. A space where care is collaborative, communication is consistent, and you’re never left trying to figure things out on your own.

You’ll have ongoing access to me—not just during appointments—because real progress happens in the in-between moments. The questions, the adjustments, the wins, and the setbacks all matter.

I also believe deeply in creating a sense of community in this process. Healing can feel isolating, and it doesn’t have to be. You deserve to feel like you have someone in your corner, guiding you, encouraging you, and helping you connect the dots along the way.
